Common areas
Accounts & profiles
Signing in and keeping your public details useful.
Do I need an account to browse?
Public pages can generally be browsed without signing in. An account is required for actions such as posting, saving, or messaging.
How do I update my profile?
Sign in, open the account menu, select Profile, and update the fields that are available to you. Review public-facing details before saving.
What should I do if I forget my password?
Open the login page and choose Forgot password?. Follow the instructions associated with your account email. Never share a reset link or one-time code with another person.
Requests & listings
Publishing and managing what you need or offer.
What is the difference between a request and a listing?
A request describes something you are seeking. A listing describes something you can offer, such as an item, service, rental, or opportunity.
What makes a useful post?
Use a specific title, the closest category, a clear description, relevant images, realistic price or budget details, and an appropriate location. Do not publish passwords, identity documents, financial details, or an exact home address.
Where can I change or close a post?
Open My Posts from the account menu. The actions shown for each post depend on its type and current status.
Messages
Starting conversations and discussing details.
How do I start a conversation?
Use the message action shown on a relevant request, listing, or owner page. The available action can vary according to the post and your relationship to it.
What information should I avoid sending?
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card details, or copies of sensitive documents unless you have independently confirmed why they are needed and it is lawful and appropriate to share them.
Why should I keep the early conversation on the platform?
It keeps the initial context together and makes it easier for you to review what was discussed. Be cautious if someone immediately pressures you to move elsewhere or to make a rushed payment.
Safety guidance
Practical checks before you agree or pay.
Does Find & Bind verify every user or post?
You should not assume that every identity, statement, image, item, service, or opportunity has been independently checked. Verify the details that matter to your decision before proceeding.
What are common warning signs?
- Pressure to act immediately or keep the arrangement secret.
- A price or promise that is unusually favourable without a clear reason.
- Requests for passwords, one-time codes, gift cards, or unusual payment methods.
- Refusal to provide reasonable evidence or answer basic questions.
- Links or attachments that do not match the conversation.
What should I do if something seems wrong?
Stop the transaction or conversation, do not send more money or information, and preserve relevant messages or receipts. Use any available report or dispute option. If there is an immediate risk or suspected crime, contact the appropriate local authority or payment provider directly.
Troubleshooting
Simple steps for common browser and account issues.
A page or action is not working. What should I try?
- Refresh the page once and try the action again.
- Confirm that your internet connection is stable.
- Sign out and sign in again if the action requires an account.
- Try a current version of another supported browser.
- Note the page, time, and error message if the issue continues.
Why can I not find a post I viewed earlier?
A post may have expired, been closed, changed visibility, been removed, or moved to a different category. Check Favorites or your recent messages if you previously saved it or contacted its owner.
What details are useful when reporting a technical issue?
Include the page address, what you attempted, what happened, the approximate time, and your browser or device type. A screenshot can help, but remove or hide passwords, payment details, private messages, and identity documents first.

A simple account-safety reminder
Find & Bind support should never need your password or a one-time login code. Do not include those details when asking for help.
